School Supply List
These are the school supplies you will need for the school year. Please make sure to purchase these items and keep them replenished throughout the year as necessary.

- A box or container that closes with a lid that is big enough to hold all of your school supplies other than notebooks during classtime. Each student has a small cubby in the classroom for keeping items. Any items that do not fit in a cubby must be kept in a locker. We do not utilize lockers in Life Skills for books. All books are kept in the classroom. You may use your locker for other materials such as coats, backpacks, extra items as there is not room for these items in the classroom.
- One notebook per subject you are in Life Skills. If you are in Life Skills for 6 periods a day, you will need 6 notebooks.
- One folder per subject.
- A box of pencils. We do not use pens in Life Skills as they do not erase.
- A folder for keeping all your papers and assignments in.
- An assignment notebook if one is not provided to you from the school in the form of a MJSH Handbook.
- Crayons, colored pencils, markers, scissors, and liquid glue for various art projects.
- A three pack of facial tissue such as Kleenex.
- A bottle of hand sanitizer.
- A pair of headphones or earbuds to use with the computer.
- Plan on saving and bringing money for Life Skills Community Experiences. At this time, we will be having one Community Experience per year.
- Personal Hygiene items such as deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, perfume/cologne, and extra socks for use as needed and after PE. You may additionally shower or have help doing your laundry at school if you obtain permission from Mrs. Hiller ahead of time and are willing to shower before school or during non-academic time periods.
- Shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes, and socks for PE. You may not wear the same clothing or shoes in the classroom that you wear for PE. These clothing items will be washed at school or sent home as needed when they become dirty.
- Emergency information card completed and on file with Mrs. Hiller.
- Permission forms completed and on file with Mrs. Hiller before attending any community experiences.
